La Marina Rabollo beach

Does anyone know when the beach in La marina called La Marina Rabollo beach is going to be sorted?
This so called nudist beach is now one of the dirtiest beaches you will find in the whole area and really needs to be sorted as it is never cleaned.
This is one reason that the beach is nearly always empty, it used to be packed with locals and tourists and now it has died. The gate near the car park and all the rotting fence needs to be removed and the car park near to the beach needs to be opened up once more.
This way, the beach will attract many more visitors and bring it back to how it used to be, we hope.
Thank you.

You could contact the councillor Jeff. That is assuming it comes under San Fulgencio, maybe it is Gaurdamar.

It's Elche

I think El Rebollo beach actually falls under Guardamar's jurisdiction. The beach cleaning machine used on La Marina beach seems to do a u turn around the boardwalk area.

I mentioned this in a post last year. That beach, as far as I know has never been cleaned, well not in the last few years.
I made some enquiries and El Rebollo comes under Elche.
La Marina beach is cleaned up to or just past Jose's Beach Bar (Pura Vida) then they do a turn around and don't bother with the rest of the Beach up to the river. The litter bins are occasionally emptied, but that's about all. I don't walk that beach anymore, it's disgusting and littered with all kinds of garbage.
To get to the beach, a new "boardwalk" was installed a while ago but the old road has been left to the elements with broken fencing and overgrown grasses etc, this too could do with some cleaning up.
I did an Email to Elche's Tourist Board but didn't get a reply.

It seems a shame that Elche is not bothering with that part of the La Marina beaches. There will come a day when they will regret that decision. As part of it is a well known to holiday makers as a naturist beach. I thought tourism was important to the local councils? One day the press will get the story and start to play it all out of proportion. Plus I walked down there the other day from the gate, it is quite a long way especially if carrying deck chairs and other bits.
