I have seen this Before, but it's good to give a Reminder to Everyone.......................

WARNING FROM POLICE
THIS APPLIES TO BOTH WOMEN AND MEN

BEWARE OF PAPER ON THE BACK WINDOW OF YOUR VEHICLE -- A NEW WAY TO DO CAR-JACKINGS (NOT A JOKE)!

Heads up everyone! Please, keep this circulating... You walk across the car park, unlock your car and get inside. You start the engine put it into reverse.

When you look into the rear view mirror to back out of your space, you notice a piece of paper stuck to the middle of the rear window. So, you stop and jump out of your car to remove that paper (or whatever it is) that is obstructing your view.

When you reach the back of your car, that is when the car-jackers appear out of nowhere, jump into your car and take off.

They practically run you over as they speed off in your car.

And guess what, ladies? I bet your purse is still in the car.

So now the car-jacker has your car, your home address, your money, and your keys. Your home and your whole identity are now compromised!

BEWARE OF THIS NEW SCHEME THAT IS NOW BEING USED.

If you see a piece of paper stuck to your back window, lock your doors and just drive away!!

Remove the paper later. And be thankful that you read this e-mail.. I hope you will forward this to friends and family, especially to women.

A purse contains all kinds of personal information and identification documents, and you certainly do NOT want this to fall into the wrong hands.

Carol, I'll think you'll find that this is an urban myth. Just look up paper in back window on a search engine.

I think this sounds very feasible and could very probably happen

Carol,
You and Ian continually to try to manipulate public opinion on this forum by deliberately making posts that have no relevance to recent comments with repeats of previous posts and stupid copied email jokes that most of us send to the bin as soon as we receive them! What is your agenda?

I don't really understand what you are trying to say Sandra. This forum is for anybody to put a variety of subjects up, or ask for advice on various topics.

I think it's nice to have a few *stupid copied e-mail jokes* as you put it - up here some times - it lightens the forum up a bit when people start to get a bit *Ratty* Sandra.

If you don't like the jokes - nobody is forcing you to read them.

Keep on posting your jokes Carol I enjoy them even if some others do not, and as you say they can always bypass them if they do not like to read them. Also any tips on personal safety are welcome no matter if it is a remote possibility, as if it helps one person avoid a crisis then it is usefull information.
