Fiesta Night in Catral
This Saturday is fiesta in our lovely town. The parade kicks off about 8pm from the centre. Make sure you get a good seat!! Enjoy!!
Spanish Classes
We have an English / Spanish language academy in Almoradí. We started the school in 2009 teaching English; it has taken off so well we have now started teaching Spanish classes to people wanting to integrate into Spanish life. Classes are 5€ per class. We accommodate all levels from beginners to advanced and our classes are taught by a qualified, friendly native Spanish teacher. The classes are fun & friendly - so why not join us and make new friends whilst learning Spanish?

Ladies Pamper Day
Calling all Ladies who like to eat drink and be pampered! Casa la Pedrera is opening it's grounds again on Thursday 23rd June 11.00a.m. until 4.00p.m. to any ladies who would like to enjoy a leisurely day out. Starting with a welcome glass of Cava or a refreshing cup of tea, ladies will be able to wander in the grounds, have a leisurely massage or beauty treatment, watch a few short demonstrations, possibly even Zumba! (participation strictly voluntary) enjoy a two course lunch with a glass of wine and by special request Susan will make the Mother in Law's secret recipe sherry trifle!! Husbands or lovers can drop their ladies off and return to collect and enjoy a leisurely cup of tea at 4.00p.m.

Broadway & Hollywood show by Jukebox Promotions
Sunday June 19th see's this show at Casa Nicolas, Altos del Limonar and Monday 20th it's at La Marina Sport complex. Thursday 23rd at Rocajuna, Punta Prima then its at Asturias, A332, Punta Prima on Tuesday 28th June and Wednesday 29th June it's at The Club in Quesada. This is a great show featuring the fabulous Andy Jones as he illustrates his amazing voice with songs from top Broadway and West End shows such as Westside Story, Les Mis, Phantom of the Opera, South Pacific and more. So far he has received a standing ovation at all of the shows on this tour. Supported by Fiona McLean (of Jukebox Legends) who also sings some great show songs along with Shirley Bassey, Celine Dion numbers (an more) from films. Peter Day, also from Jukebox Legends completes the line up with some film tracks from popular 60s and 70s music and all in all this varied and high quality show is a must for anyone wh loves musicals. FOUND A GERMAN SHEPHERD, PLEASE HELP ME FIND HER OWNERS
Tonight I found a german shepherd wondering around near my house in Catral. She was exhausted, starving and thirsty. I think she is about 9 months to a year old. She is very timid but intelligent! Its possible she may have had puppies already as she looks like her milk has dried up. She has an old worn white flea collar and a brown leather collar. The brown collar used to have studded shapes on it but they have all fallen off apart from one silver metal diamond. She is a beautiful dog..with no name. Does anyone know who she belongs to??? I will be contacting SATS and NUHUN in the morning. I think she has Spanish owners as she did not understand any commands..but she is really clever and has already mastered sit! She also has already defended my husband when she heard some strange noises by jumping in front of him and growling in to the dark. A very good guard dog. Please help me find her owners or a good home. I can not keep her as I already have 2 rescue dogs and 6 rescue cats.
It will start at the top end of C/ Manual Flores near the village inn bar and continue until the bottom set of traffic lights where it will turn left past Cajamurcia and continue right to the end of Avenida de la purisima(the main road through Catral) near San Remo
